By now, you should know that fried chicken in Singapore isn’t just about KFC: we’ve got Chic-a-boo, Arnold’s Fried Chicken, Popeyes and of course, Texas Chicken.
That is a tough choice that we first-world citizens face, so here’s the solution in the next few days: Texas Chicken is going for cheap, so it’s Texas Chicken #FTW (temporarily).
From now until 13 September 2017, you can get a premium set meal for $5.
Originally, a 2-pc chicken meal, which excludes the fries, is already at $8.60, so this is definitely a steal.
However, here’s the catch: you would have to scan and pay with DBS PayLah!
Which shouldn’t be an issue for you millennials because paying with your phone is akin to breathing.
Do note that there are terms and conditions, and one of which is that it is only limited to 8,000 sets.
Also, it’s valid for just one set per customer.
Do I still need to give you a review of the food? Let’s just say that IMO, if I see a Texas Chicken outlet, I’ll go for it instead of any fast-food restaurants, though it’s because the Sampler Meal (which includes like almost everything) is really one heck of a meal.
But don’t take it from me.
Take it from this well-received Facebook video that they’ve done.
Makcik approves.
