There’s been a trend going on lately, and you and I are very much aware of it. Locals are suckers for anything localised.
Why? Well, I guess there’s just something about adding that hint of Singaporean flare into the unexpected. We’re looking at: the more bizarre, the better.

Just when you think you’ve seen and tasted it all – from chicken rice flavoured chips to Playmade’s mala pearls – another food chain proves you wrong.
Introducing yet another addition to your bubble tea bucket lists, MAO Milk Bar!

Before you head down, here’s a video to remind you of how unhealthy bubble teas are:

But anyways. Back to the topic…
Offers a Range of Quirky Range of Drinks and Toppings
I know what you’re thinking, “there’s already so many of these bubble tea chains. Why do we need another one?”
Well, just in case you’re tired of the usual options or if you’re feeling slightly adventurous, MAO has you covered with their extensive menu consisting of unique and rather eccentric flavoured beverages. You name it, they’ve got it!
It’s every bubble tea connoisseur’s fantasy. To name a few from the bunch, they’ve got: Cranberry Vinegar Citrus Pearl, Oolong Tea with Brown Butter Foam, Chrysanthemum Tea with Cheese Foam, and Black Coffee with Brown Butter Foam!
Of course, not forgetting, the vital ingredient…the pearls. You’d be stoked to hear that MAO Milk Bar doesn’t just offer the conventional boba.
According to Eatbook, for just an additional $0.50, you can spice up your drink with durian flavoured pearls. Sign me up! Now, what did I say about localisation? Nobody’s complaining.
Other toppings also include, maple flavoured pearls, seaweed pearls, and citrus pearls. There’s just so many to choose from!
I just want to know… how they come up with these flavours and where I can get the brain juice and the energy to do the same.
