Driving to Paradigm Mall? Better Leave Your BMW or Mercs At Home Coz The Carpark is Not for the Faint-hearted

Have you heard about the Paradigm Mall that recently opened in JB?

While it may look like a spanking new shopping mall, plans to build it started in 1993 (14 years ago).

Some of you guys reading this were not even born yet!

But the plan didn’t proceed (obviously) and it could be due to the Asian Financial Crisis back in 1997.

Paradigm Mall was previously known as Kemayan City and had been abandoned for almost 20 years.

spooky…..

There were many stories circulating about how scary it is but I shall not be responsible for any nightmares.

However, the whole point about this article isn’t about how old or how scary it looked, but it’s about the terrifying process of finding a parking lot.

According to those that have been to this largest integrated shopping mall in JB, you have to drive up a continuous spiral slope that’s 5-storeys high.

Do look out for the sides because the bends are known to be very tight.

I died watching this video where someone drove up the slope:

Am I the only one who held my breath the whole time while watching?

It feels like a roller-coaster ride (the kind that you hate and can’t wait for it to end).

This video shows how ‘bumpy’ the roads are:

Oh, now I get the “integrated shopping mall” part…

Roller coaster and bumpy rides, this mall has a ‘theme park’ inside it!

Jokes aside, even if you can tahan all these, you might still go berserk because there’s really not enough parking lots.

Someone spent 30 min and yet still failed to find a lot in the mall (3:43):

I would say the parking part is really a big fail…

So much planning done for the mall but it’s made so inaccessible…

I think can compare it to the Clarke Quay Central car park already.

If you don’t know what I’m saying, watch this video:

For those that have already driven to Paradigm Mall, how’s the parking like for you?

If you plan to drive there soon, will you still want to do so?

Since you’re here, why not watch a video about an NTU student who went all out to impress his crush, only to end up in…tragedy? Here, watch it and do remember to share it (and also subscribe to Goody Feed YouTube channel)!
