When Phase Two was announced, everyone in Goody Feed saw this:

Life is only back to normal if bubble tea exists.

But then we saw this:

Yes, due to the sudden announcement, it took several eateries by surprise. Even IKEA, one of the most popular F&B chains in Singapore, isn’t reopening their restaurants come 19 June 2020.

So would your favourite bubble tea shops finally open?

Thankfully, for Gong Cha, the answer is yes.

Kind of.

Gong Cha has confirmed with Goody Feed that they will be reopening all outlets on 19 June. They are the outlets in

  • Somerset 313
  • Ang Mo Kio
  • Bugis Junction
  • Century Square
  • Changi General Hospital
  • Compass One
  • Eunos MRT Station
  • Funan Mall
  • Hougang Mall
  • Lot One
  • Northpoint
  • Pasir Ris
  • Plaza Singapura
  • Simei MRT Station
  • Singpost
  • Takashimaya
  • Tampines MRT
  • Toa Payoh
  • Tan Tock Seng Hospital
  • Westgate
  • Woodlands

These shops are already open because they sell pancakes (or to be specific, fluffy pancakes, which you can read the review here) as well:

  • Paya Lebar Quarter
  • Nex
  • Causeway Point
  • NUS U-town

These outlets will reopen on 23 June (Tuesday) instead:

  • One Raffles Place
  • Mapletree Business City

And these two outlets will reopen on 1 July:

  • NUS Frontier
  • Marina Square
