Valentines’ Day, as the occasion suggests, is the perfect time to celebrate the joy of love, which is what Jay Chou did. But instead of merely celebrating the love between him and his wife, he also celebrated the joy of expecting another member into his family of 3.
Second Pregnancy
Yeap, you’ve guessed it! This Taiwanese singer is having his second baby and we couldn’t be any more happy for him. Jay announced his wife’s pregnancy on his social media on Valentine’s Day, giving us another occasion worth celebrating.
Posting a loving photo of the couple, Jay wrote, “Valentine’s Day, mummy’s lover from her previous life has arrived. Wishing everyone a happy ‘gal-boy’ Valentine’s Day!”
Besides announcing his wife’s pregnancy, Jay also hinted that they are expecting a boy this time round. Given that daughters are described as their fathers’ lovers from their past lives, this gives us the clue to the baby’s gender.
Last year, Jay even composed a song about his first child, a girl, called Lover From Previous Life. Sweet!
The couple married in 2014 and had their wedding ceremony in England in January 2015. Their daughter, Hathaway, was born in July 2015, three months after they announced the pregnancy. We wish them all the best for their upcoming baby boy!
