Singaporean billionaire heiress Ms Kim Lim is officially single once again.
If you have the uncanny feeling of déjà vu, you’re not wrong.
You can watch this video to know more about her divorce:
This is Ms Lim’s second divorce in this decade. Her divorce from her two-month husband, Mr Leslie Leow, has recently been finalized after a “traumatic” eight months.
Her first divorce was from Mr Kho Bin Kai occurred in 2020, after being husband and wife for 3 years. The pair have a son together.
So, what’s the tea with Ms Lim latest divorce?
Kim Lim Announces Divorce Is “Finally Done”
Earlier this week, Ms Lim posted an Instagram story sharing with her followers and fans that her divorce from Mr Leow has concluded.
In a post with black text against a plain white background, Ms Lim writes in all capital letters, “The past 8 months have been super traumatic for me but I am happy that I am finally done with all the nonsense I had to deal with because of you. I am super duper glad to be able to put all these behind me & move on with my life.”
Indirectly referencing someone in a social media post without tagging them—we knew that ultra-rich people could still be relatable.
She continues in a separate paragraph, “Although I am disappointed with how everything turned out, I am also thankful for having learnt a valuable lesson.”
An emoji of a bride in a wedding dress with a red cross over it concludes the paragraphs in the post.
But Ms Lim isn’t done just yet.
She posts a “ROCKS” with a laughing emoji right at the bottom to conclude her post on Instagram Story.
How very stylish.
Ms Lim had also posted a celebratory champagne cheers with three other glasses in what we presume is a toast to new her newfound singlehood.
The “nonsense” that Ms Lim had to deal with presumably stemmed in part (or majorly) from a tussle on asset division.
Her ex-husband had reportedly brought out a long list of items that he wished to claim possession to, including a pair of Crocs footwear which costs $120 and Sono speakers valued at $1,200.
There’s definitely a problem here.
Who would pay $120 for a pair of Crocs?!
Mr Leow had also allegedly retracted his Guo Da Li or betrothal ceremony gifts which were speculated to be worth $2 million. The gifts ranged from modern items such as Hermès bags and gold bars to the more traditional dragon and phoenix candles and jewellery.

Nothing Like a Holiday
Some people say that money cannot buy happiness. But we think it definitely can pay for stress reduction.
Although her marriage may not have worked out, Ms Lim’s money definitely works for her.
Since she announced her split with Mr Leow after two months of marriage, she has been jet-setting around the world, including Dubai, London and Paris.
A recent post on her Instagram account shows her enjoying life by an infinity pool, with the location tagged as “Aura Skypool Dubai”.
