Man Jailed For Years Finally Proven Innocent ‘Cuz He Managed To Recover Deleted FB Messages

False rape accusations.

I sincerely hope that just by mentioning the above phrase is enough to piss you off. To me, falsely accusing another person of rape is a crime as severe as rape itself.

With that being said, here’s a little good news(sort of).

An Englishman, Danny Kay, was jailed in 2013 for four and a half years after a woman he had sex with produced a series of Facebook messages showing him apologising, which was then interpreted as evidence of alleged rape.

His rape conviction was overturned last month after the Facebook messages which had been deleted by his accuser were recovered.

As it turns out, the accuser has selectively deleted messages from the Facebook chat in order to make it seem as if she was raped.

Bloody hell, not this kind of a**hole again. I’m sure there’s a special place in hell reserved just for this thing.

Thanks to Mr Danny Kay’s sister-in-law, Sarah Maddison, the full archived conversations were found after she looked through his Facebook messages.

Apparently, the messages were deleted in such a way to make it seem as if Mr Danny Kay was apologizing for raping the woman, when in fact, it was just him apologizing for ignoring her messages.

The woman then replied with “Dnt be”, which was deleted.

She also sent 4 kiss emojis to Mr Danny Kay after he asked for her number. However, these messages were also deleted.

During the appeal hearing, the woman said that she deleted some of the messages in order to clear up storage spaces.

Wow. That’s easily one of the worst excuses I’ve ever heard in my entire life. Good luck wriggling your way out of this, a**hole.

I really hope she gets what she deserves. That being said, that’s close to five years of his life Mr Danny Kay’s never getting back.

And that’s all for a crime he did not commit.

Since you’re here, why not watch a video about a guy who lodged a Police report here in Singapore because he was friendzoned? Seriously. Here, watch it and do remember to share it (and also subscribe to Goody Feed YouTube channel)!
