Man Washed ‘Chou Chou’ & It Turned from Black to Pink

On 25 July 2019, the world received news of an act of blasphemy. A man killed a part of himself and showed it to the world.

By a part of himself, I mean Chou Chou, or 臭臭, which is your lifelong companion that you carried from young to probably until you die.

It may look like a simple bolster, pillow, soft toy, or even blanket, but it is basically the first Pokemon. Imagine if Ash killed Pikachu. That’s what this man did. You don’t wash a Chou Chou. I mean, it even has health benefits!

But a Malaysian man named Waiwai Chong posted his murder process on Facebook.

I have to admit, I was about to call for him to be burnt at the fire, but I guess looking at the results I have to hold back for now.

It’s like one of those beauty transformations before and after makeup.

Is this… is this what we’ve been doing to our Chou Chous? Did our Chou Chou suffer for the sake of providing us comfort through its smell?

Either way, this was the caption accompanying the pictures:

这就是我的臭臭小猪bb，之前一直不敢自己手洗或者拿去洗是因为怕会洗烂了，再不洗我怕会腐烂或者腐化，今天要洗被所以鼓起很大的勇气拿去自助洗衣店一起洗，洗出来还有烘干了之后拿出来开心4我了………😘😘😘

Which translates to:

This is my Chou Chou piggy bb, I have never dared to hand wash or wash another way because I was afraid it would be ruined. But if I don’t wash, I’m afraid it will rot or decompose, so I gathered up a lot of courage to take it to a self-service laundry. After washing and drying, I’m so happy with the results………😘😘😘

It would appear I was wrong in assuming blasphemy because his love for his Chou Chou meant that he even custom made a phone cover.
