Over here in Goody Feed, we love a few things: McDonald’s, cat videos, cai png and also making empty promises about eating cockroaches.
After all, what tastes better than cockroaches, right? Fry it and it tastes like a peanut. At least that’s what we’re told.
So here’s another promise: we’ll get one of our colleagues to live-stream him or her downing six cockroaches if this isn’t the Ninja Burger that’s supposed to come out after Samurai Burger.
Sent in by an unnamed source whom we’ll name Jin Ja, he told us that the burger on the left is Filet-O-Fish, and the one on the right is Ninja Burger.
Jin Ja is pretty certain about this, so much so that he kept on saying “Jinjja la!” to us.
You see, when McDonald’s brought back Samurai Burger, they mentioned about some Ninja Burger. Here, see what Channel NewsAsia said:
When McDonald’s introduced its Samurai Burger in a video, you can see that there are two people.
And the other person who hasn’t gone into an McDonald’s outlet (in Ang Mo Kio, I’d have thought)?
He’s wearing a black top.
With one of my colleagues being a Samurai Burger fan (read his super bias review here), he refuses to write this article as nothing can beat his childhood love Samurai Burger: not even a burger that is black.
He loves it so much, we have to do a video about it:
So…is the new Ninja Burger going to be black?
While it looks cool, I’ve to say this again: this isn’t some verified information from McDonald’s.
I just want to make an empty promise so that one of us would have the chance to have some fried cockroaches.
The only memory I have about McDonald’s burgers that went for a dye is the Angry Bird Burger, and personally, it made me very angry as it was a can-Instagram-but-cannot-makan burger.
Now, if Jin Ja is jinjja and this the Ninja Burger has a black bun, then I’m hoping that it tastes better than the Angry Birds burger. Because I don’t want another Instagram-worthy burger!
(P.S. After this article is published, six people just tendered their resignation. I wonder why.)
