Parents of Boy Urinating in Lift Said He’s Not Their Son ‘Coz ‘He Can’t Pee That High’

So recently, a boy in Chongqing, China went viral for peeing in the elevator. Or to be more specific, the elevator buttons. The entire incident was caught on CCTV and subsequently uploaded onto Youtube.

As it turns out, his piss actually fried the elevator’s circuit, and the lift started malfunctioning. In the end, he had to be rescued.

You can read more about it here.

So anyways…

There’s been a new development, and it ain’t pretty.

According to Channel News Asia, China’s Ministry of Public Security has advised parents to better educate their children, after sharing the aforementioned video of a boy urinating in a lift.

In a Weibo post on 25 Feb, the ministry reiterated the boy’s act.

“As a result, the lift short-circuited; the lift doors could not be opened, the lift buttons were flashing and the child was trapped before being rescued,” said the ministry.

“Please educate and take good care of your children!”

Urinating goals

Lest you’re unaware, that was the boring part.

This here is the juicier cousin.

So apparently, the child’s parents have denied the allegations, stating that their son was “unable to urinate that high”.

But just hold on to your ‘WTF’ first; there’s something else:

The boy in question did not admit to the incident, and said he had not urinated in the lift.

So what was that?

A hidden water gun? Water apparition? Or an invisible water jet only we can see on camera coz we were all blessed with third eyes?

Geezus, at least create a comprehensible excuse!

Subsequently, Netizens started criticising the boy’s parents (cos nobody believes him, duh), with one Weibo user slamming them for the boy’s questionable upbringing.

“No family education; I especially detest these sort of children,” another wrote.

Can’t say I disagree either. If a kid in my block did it, he will have more than the lift’s malfunctioning to worry about. That’s for sure.
