People often said that you shouldn’t judge someone by his or her appearance. I guess this piece of news would reiterate that point.
Here, take a look.
This could just be another office lady who might backstab a co-worker, come for work late every day or take MC every week. But no, she did more than that: she broke the law.
A video of the lady stealing not just once, but twice, has gone viral in Stomp yesterday.
This took place on 20 June 2017 and 10 July 2017 in a pushcart at a shopping mall in Raffles Place. According to the Stomper, Anon, who runs the pushcart, each of the watches stolen costs $168.
What’s even more interesting is that both incidents occurred at exactly 7:05 p.m.
Anon had decided to let the first incident rest, but seeing that she struck again (and this needs to be highlighted: at the exact same time!), he decided to take it to social media.
Two months ago, a 36-year-old lady was found dead in Sengkang. She has been diagnosed with kleptomania, a condition in which a person has an urge to steal things. According to media reports, she was supposed to attend her pre-trial conference on the next day.
For her case, she allegedly stole $30,000 worth of items.
While the cause of kleptomania isn’t clear, there are treatments for the condition. It is usually more common among women than men.
