But those hopes were dashed when Kang Gary, in a surprise move, announced that he was getting married. In fact, it was so unexpected and sudden that even the Running Man cast members professed not being aware of it.
Later that year, in end 2017, Kang Gary posted a picture on his Instagram, revealing a baby’s feet. As it turns out, it was his child’s.
It was then that Netizens started wondering whether it was a shotgun marriage, seeing how Kang Gary’s child’s birth took place less than 9 months after the marriage.

Yet another piece of the puzzle has been uncovered, as it has been revealed that his current wife actually worked at his company.
Mmm… office romance, eh?
According to Allkpop, Kang Gary’s wife (with the last name Kim) has been revealed to be an employee of Leesang company, a company owned and operated by Gary and Gil of the hip hop duo.
It’s believed that Kim took an entry-level position at the agency, where she worked for around 5 years. She was also apparently born in the year 1988, which means that she’s 10 years younger than Gary, who was born in 1978.
However, insiders have disclosed that they are unaware of the relationship, as the Kang Gary and his wife reportedly kept it under wraps.
