There’s Allegedly a Bra Stealer in Bukit Batok, With Even Footage of the Thief

This is Crayon Shin-Chan’s titular character, Shinnosuke “Shin” Nohara.

For the unaware, he’s an energetic 5 year-old kid with a special liking for ‘teddy bear’ biscuits, robots and women.

Especially women’s ‘accessories’, I must add. But you probably guessed it already.

So anyway, dear Shin-chan here’s supposed to be a fake character. After all, as people have preached non-stop,

“He’s a damn manga character! How can he be real?”

But I knew better. Crayon Shin-chan’s very much alive, and it’s not just in my heart.

So I waited. And waited. And waited. 

Until finally, he emerged.

Granted, he might have aged a bit. Gotten slightly less cuter, perhaps. Even had to put on a pair of glasses after all that TV binge-watching. But there’s no doubt about it.

Crayon Shin-chan is alive and well in our world.

And if you were to ask me how I know, I would answer…

“Who else would do something like this?”

Stealing women’s lingerie, that is.

So err… what happened?

Apparently, a lingerie thief has allegedly been caught on CCTV stealing lingeries from outside a HDB unit in Bukit Batok Central.

Seemingly in his 40s, the unidentified man has dark hair and was wearing glasses. He allegedly nabbed a red bra and a black bra from the premises.

According to Li Jian Bin’s post, it’s the fifth time the thief has attacked his unit.

Li Jian Bin also mentioned that he has called the cops, but the thief remains elusive. As a result, he has resorted to posting CCTV footage on the net, in the hope that someone recognises the thief.

Incidentally, it seems that Li Jian Bin’s case isn’t the only one; Li expressed in the comments how the police have mentioned similar cases in the neighbourhood.

However, there’s no indication that the culprit is the same for the cases.

Netizens have responded, and it was an interesting sight.

Translations:

“Uncle’s unlucky, famous already.”

“Uncle should purchase new ones online.”

Translation: “Uncle! Did you steal limited editions?”

“Maybe he’s using it to make kopi. Just give him!”

Now, I’m no bra stealing expert so I have absolutely no idea what the dude’s gonna do with them.

But if I had to take a guess, I would say that he’s gonna do a duck dong.

Because he’s Crayon Shin-chan, that’s why.
