In Grand Theft Auto (GTA), running away from the cops is often more fun than the actual missions you have to get through.
The moment you start firing at pedestrians or steal a car, several cop cars will magically appear, ready to apprehend your criminal ass.
When that happens, you’d typically drive as fast as you can away from the scene of the crime and the officers. Sometimes you succeed, other times you get busted.

Real life, however, is a little different. If you’re asked to stop by the police in real life, the best thing to do would be to follow orders.
Otherwise, if you try to flee, you might just end up slamming into an officer and digging an even bigger hole for yourself.
Car Did a ‘GTA’ in S’pore By Knocking Over TP & Trying to Flee Scene
A video of a car reversing into a Traffic Police (TP) officer and knocking him over has made the rounds on social media.
Footage of the bizarre incident was shared on the Facebook page District Singapore today (28 Oct).
The video starts out with what appears to be another ordinary day on the roads of Singapore. Some motorists drive by while others wait patiently at the traffic light.
Then, at the 6-second mark, the video turns into an action thriller from the 2000s, as a silver Mitsubishi Lancer turns into the same lane as the cam car and starts speeding for no apparent reason.
Fortunately, the driver of the Lancer has enough sense to slow down to prevent a collision with the cam car.
It’s at this point that we find out why the Lancer was in a rush:

Yes, it appears that the driver of the Lancer was trying to get away from a TP officer, who had his bike’s emergency lights flashing.
The Lancer driver should have stopped his vehicle, exited his car, and given himself up, but instead, he went full-GTA.
The driver abruptly reverses with speed, knocking down another TP officer on his tail who was trailing behind.
Fortunately, the TP officer seems to have escaped relatively unscathed, as he managed to get back on his feet in pursuit of the fleeing vehicle and even kicked the car out of anger.
It’s unclear if the authorities caught the driver, but given that evidence of his offense is now all over the internet, it may not be long before that happens.

Netizens commended the TP officer for trying to stop the vehicle from fleeing even after he was knocked down.
