This afternoon at about 1pm, as you’re probably still sleeping, a bus rammed into a taxi stand at Yishun MRT Station.
The shelter was partially collapsed, and blood stains could be seen near the accident area.

Tower Transit Bus Slammed Into Taxi Stand at Yishun; 3 People Sent to Hospital
The SCDF received a call for assistance shortly after 1pm today.
Apparently, a Tower Transit bus, bus service 969, has hit a taxi stand along Yishun Avenue 2.
According to Tower Transit, two pedestrians have been taken to the hospital.
Singapore Police Force added that the pedestrians are two females, 60 and 64. In addition, the bus captain, a 63-year-old man, is also taken to the hospital.
Tower Transit said that the bus captain has been suspended. They are in the process of getting in touch with the injured and their families and assisting the authorities with an investigation.
They said in a Facebook post, “To those affected in any way by the accident, we’re very sorry.”
SCDF added that no passengers were trapped in the bus.
The MP of the area, Assoc Prof Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, said that the bus might have “hit one of the beams supporting the covered linkway, causing the roof to collapse.”
