You’ve probably already watched the second season of Alice in Borderland, which recently came out on Netflix.
You were probably also amazed by the stunts that the heroine, Yuzuha Usagi, managed to pull off.
Guess what? Usagi’s actress, Tao Tsuchiya, just announced her pregnancy and upcoming marriage.

Straight out of a Rom-Com
The couple reportedly met in August 2016 while filming for the rom-com movie Ani ni Aisaresugite Komattemasu.
They played the main leads and started dating shortly after the movie was released in June 2017.
I guess you can say that their romance is straight out of a rom-com.
According to Josei Seven, the couple has rarely been seen together as they keep to a couple of rules. For instance, they make it a point not to eat out or go on dates outside.
Japanese daily sports newspaper Sponichi reported that the pair had already revealed their intention to get married to close business and family members in 2022.
Tsuchiya’s Character in Alice in Borderland
The long-awaited second season of the popular Netflix series came out recently on 22 December 2022.
The show takes place in a parallel version of Tokyo, where its citizens must compete in numerous sadistic games of life and death and fight for their survival.
Tsuchiya’s character, Usagi, is characterised by her agility and physical prowess as a skilled mountaineer.
She fights alongside Ryohei Arisu, an unemployed gamer trying to find the meaning of his existence.
If you enjoy binge-watching, all eight episodes of the season are available on Netflix.
