I think it is about time we created a special section on Goody Feed’s page—”Pipe Burst Kerfuffle”.
Singapore has once again had another pipe burst, but this time around it is in the east of Singapore.
In this episode of “Pipe Burst Kerfuffle”, a “fountain” of sorts sprouted out of nowhere in a mall.
Yeah, in a mall.
Pipe burst in a mall
According to Stomp, an escalator at Eastpoint Mall became a “fountain” after a pipe burst beneath it.
Luckily for us, Singaporeans are social media junkies and there is a video of this incident on Facebook.

As you can tell from the video, other bystanders were also recording the incident (if not what would they be doing? Drinking it?).
It happened on 8 Nov 2017 at about 2:00 p.m., Lianhe Wanbao reported.
Barricades were placed to prevent shoppers from getting close to the strong jet of water.
No one got hurt and the situation was fixed within 30 minutes. Cleaners then mopped up the excess water.
Talk about being efficient.
How did it happen?
An eyewitness believed that a worker had misplaced a tool which fell and cracked the pipe.
A spokesperson for Eastpoint Mall told the reporters that the incident was due to a burst water pipe.
This may not be as serious as the other pipe burst cases but there is one thing we all can learn from this.
It takes an incident like this to bring Singaporeans together and showcase the true Singaporean spirit—taking photos when anything out of the ordinary occurs.

That is why Stomp is still alive and running.
I guess every Singaporean is a journalist one way or another.
