Hana Kimura is a professional wrestler in Japan who wrestled in Stardom—a professional wrestling show in Japan. Just think of it as WWE, just with less fans. But the professional wrestler doesn’t just spend her time wrestling; she’s also known as a cast in Terrace House, a popular reality TV series whereby people who don’t know each other lived together, and the interesting part is that it’ll comprise three males and three females. It’s allegedly unscripted (which is why people associate with Singapore Social), and no one knows if it’s real or not. Hana Kimura is one of the cast members in its latest season, Terrace House: Tokyo 2019–2020. She has joined the show back in September 2019, albeit not the first few cast members to be in the season. As of now, she’s still in the show, with the latest episode being aired in Netflix just four days ago (also available in Netflix Singapore), on 19 May 2020, when she told her fellow cast members that her matches had been cancelled due to COVID-19 (the actual day of filming might be way earlier when COVID-19 just started). The production of the show is now on hiatus due to COVID-19. Sudden Announcement of Death This afternoon, Stardom posted an update, in both English and Japanese, that took everyone by surprise: Stardom fans, We are very sorry to report that our Hana Kimura has passed away. Please be respectful and allow some time for things to process, and keep your thoughts and prayers with her family and friends. While the announcement came today, there’s no mention of when she had passed away and how she passed away. The 22-year-old had posted this in her Instagram yesterday: https://www.instagram.com/p/CAf_XFcJ8jQ/ It doesn't come with a caption and here’s the translated version of the words on the image: “I love you. Have a long, happy life. I’m sorry.” But that wasn’t what led to speculations that she had been cyber-bullied. Tweets Before Death Yesterday, the pro-wrestler had also posted photos of self-mutilation which appeared to have been removed. Thank you everyone, I love you. Bye.” How the Cyber-Bullying Started As expected, it started from Terrace House, whereby the line between reality and TV is blurred. People had blamed her for simple things like being a bad housemate in a shared house, and even mocked her appearance. // This shit right here.
