North-siders, the wait is finally over.
This weekend, two Ramadan bazaars will open in Woodlands, with one of them even featuring rides and a line-up of entertainment.
First Bazaar Next to Woodlands MRT
The first bazaar “BazaRia Marsiling” will be located next to the Woodlands MRT station. It will be open from 10am to 10pm from 15 April to 2 May.
The announcement of the bazaar was made by Zaqy Mohamad, Member of Parliament of Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC, in a Facebook post.
According to him, the official launch of the bazaar will happen on 16 April at 5pm. Hosting the event will be DJ Hafeez Glamour.
Visitors can also expect to see popular artistes such as Hetty Sarlene and “Bila Rindu” singer, Fuad Rahman performing that evening.
Carnival Rides
For those who prefer the more thrilling entertainment, the bazaar is also set to have a fun fair section.
In a post made by Singapore Atrium Sale on Facebook, images of rides like a rocking ship and a mini flying carousel were seen.
However, the rest of the games are currently unknown, so you will have to head there from tomorrow onwards to check them out.
Second Bazaar at Woodlands Sports Pavillion
The second bazaar, Bazar Untuk Rayat (Bazaar for The People), will be located at Woodlands Sports Pavillion, which is just behind Admiralty MRT station.
It will operate from 10am to 10pm from 16 April to 1 May.
You can expect all the iconic bazaar food, including the famous Ramly Burger. So make sure you come with empty stomachs and get ready to fill them up!

Other Bazaars
Since the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions in Singapore, Ramadan bazaars and pasar malams have been popping up across the island.
Most noticeably was the return of the Geylang Ramadan bazaar which last operated in 2019.
In the heartlands, pasar malams are set to open in areas like Punggol and Tampines as well.
It seems bazaars are almost set to return in full swing, so don’t rush out yet, one could be coming near to you soon!
