Just two days ago, my colleague made a prediction that just came true.
No, he’s not a millionaire (yet) and no, we’re not getting one week off work. And yes, you’re still gonna get your daily dose of Goody Feed, so don’t worry!
Ok, jokes aside.
Remember the article we wrote on the dude who threw a plastic cone down Block 856 of Tampines Street 82?
Here’s the video if you can’t remember:
If I may quote how the article was written…
“Judging by how effective social media is at catching idiots like him, it’s highly likely that the police is going to catch up to him sooner or later.”
That’s right ladies and gentlemen, the culprit has been captured.
According to Stomp, he’s only 19, which so happens to be the same age as our youngest writer here.
Hmm…not saying anything, just trying to picture him writing in our office. Nope.
Of course, my colleague rightfully thinks that it’s a kid, because #1: he looks young and #2: why would a 19-year-old do this?
The police confirmed that a report was lodged and a 19-year-old man was subsequently arrested for Rash Act.
Rash indeed. Even his friend told him that it was ‘stupid’. See lah, don’t want to listen.
Police investigations are ongoing.
I wonder if he’s still laughing like how he did in the Insta story that brought him to ‘fame’.
Remember kids, whatever you post on social media is for the world to see.
Last year, a 13-year-old boy did the exact same thing, but threw a bike down instead. He was arrested on the exact same day.
