What would you wake up at 5.28am for?
Personally, nothing. I don’t care if it’s my wedding – everything in my life can wait until the sun comes up.
However, clearly, this man doesn’t prioritise sleep as much as I do. Instead of being in bed before even the early crack of dawn, he has chosen to gear up – caps, scissors, mask, everything – to go commit a strange act of vandalism.
With a spiteful vengeance, CCTV footage showed the man looking around furtively before going up to a row of colourful and beautiful Hari Raya flowers. He then began snipping away the heads of the entire row of the flowers.
No flowers were left untouched, as he bent down to snip away the flowers placed below the row as well.
Unsatisfied with the extent of his property damage, he went closer to the lift and pulled the flowers out, before throwing the flowers there out of the window (defenestration much?).
Repeated Offender
In the Facebook post that exposed the CCTV footage of the man committing the strange act, the poster added that this had been happening yearly ever since Hari Raya is around the corner.
The poster also revealed that the man doesn’t even live on the same level as them, and so there was no reason for him to be doing this at all, since he wouldn’t even see the flowers going in and out of his house in his day-to–day life.
