If you’re vegetarian or vegan, it’s already hard enough to find food on a regular day.

With many restaurants and stores closed on Chinese New Year (CNY), it’s going to be an even bigger headache trying to find good food.

Fortunately, there are good, tech-savvy Samaritans around us. Someone did a map that shows what Chinese vegetarian eateries are open during CNY.

Map of Vegetarian Eateries for Your CNY Meals

The mapmaker, Jimmy Seah, is reportedly a Happycow ambassador who regularly reviews vegetarian food on the platform.

Seah started making these maps since 2016 as he wanted to make it easier for vegetarians to find food during the festive period. He obtains the opening hours of stores from their social media pages.

You can view the map here:

Click on the cow logos, and you will be able to see all the details of the restaurant like their operating days and hours, Facebook links, and whether they have delivery options.

Popular vegetarian food chains like Daily Green, D’life, Elemen, Greendot, Shu Vegetarian and Zi Zai will remain open during the CNY holidays.

Not Dining Out?

Most stores will have delivery options, so you don’t have to brave the CNY crowds.
