When a famous YouTuber moves to Singapore, chances are you’re going to hear about it.
This isn’t always a good thing, as Nas Daily will tell you. When he announced that he was moving to Singapore in 2019, some Singaporeans started a petition to ban him from entering the country, supposedly because his videos on Singapore apparently had “stereotypical and also brainwashing elements and subliminal messages”.
Now, another YouTuber has decided to call this tiny island home.
And her fans couldn’t be more excited.
YouTuber Chloe Ting Has Officially Moved to S’pore & Lives in a High-SES Apartment
At the height of the pandemic last year, when most of us were glued to our beds endlessly eating and watching shows, fitness videos skyrocketed in popularity.
None of us actually exercised while watching those videos, of course, it was just nice to know that other people out there were keeping fit.
And perhaps the most popular fitness YouTuber at that time was Chloe Ting, a Bruneian who lived in Melbourne.
Ting’s easy-to-follow home workouts coupled with her bubbly personality has helped her amass a following of 22.5 million subscribers on YouTube.
In her latest video, Ting revealed that she had moved to Singapore and gave a tour of her apartment.
It was rather empty though, as Ting had very recently moved in:
She said she’s currently sleeping on a mattress on the floor while she waits for her bed, but doesn’t mind too much as the view is “beautiful”.
“I don’t know if I want to show you guys what’s outside because then you guys will know exactly where I live, that’s weird,” she said.
But she caved later on in the video and ended up showing it anyway:
It’s hard to tell exactly where this is, but it’s clearly in an upscale neighbourhood. If you squint really hard, you’ll be able to see an HDB flat.
Ting later revealed that her apartment complex has two swimming pools, a gym, and two tennis courts.

Not a Fan of the Humidity
Much like many of us, Ting is not a fan of the humidity here.
This is why she got herself a dehumidifier which she says she needs because of how humid it is.
“My skin is not happy too. I’m breaking out,” she said.
Ting said that she previously thought about moving to Los Angeles or somewhere else in the US, but eventually settled on Singapore.
And needless to say, her fans in Singapore are over the moon.
