Remember the post-credits of Spider-Man: No Way Home, where Doctor Strange seeks Wanda out for help about the multiverse?
Marvel just dropped a new trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and we can expect the return of more icons.
The Nightmare Begins
Every night, I dream the same dream. And then…
The nightmare begins.
Doctor Strange’s opening monologue already sent chills down our backs. Seems like his adventures with the multiverse in No Way Home has some pretty long-lasting impacts, as he is about to plunge into another level of madness.
Of course, it isn’t madness without the long-awaited return of some characters.
Wanda as a Villain?
You break the rules and become the hero. I do it and I become the enemy. That doesn’t seem fair.
If you’re not caught up on Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) lore aside from the big screens, Wanda Maximoff (AKA the Scarlet Witch) has been living in isolation ever since she messed with the minds of a whole town in WandaVision.
Wanda has always been on the Avengers’ side, but this time around she might just be the villain.
And BTW, Social media users are loving evil Wanda.
even if wanda has murdered every character by the end of multiverse of madness, i’ll still be standing by her! wanda is always right!

Prof Xavier from X-Men and Other Cameos
Hear that familiar voice at 1:18 in the trailer?
Yep, that belongs to Charles Xavier from the X-Men movies, played by Patrick Stewart.
Other than a possible X-Men crossover, we’re also greeted with familiar faces, including Monica Rambeau (Captain Marvel’s friend) in a fight scene with the Scarlet Witch.
Characters that are returning (and for some, debuting) on the big screen include Sinister Strange, Karl Modo, America Chevez, and our favourite Wong.
The movie is expected to hit cinemas on 6 May. You can watch the trailer here:
