When they hit the shores of Singapore, everybody went crazy.
So when the internet spotted Don Don Donki renovation boards at City Square (the one at Kitchener Road, not JB), chaos erupted.
And they’re actively looking for people to work with them.
Well, guess what?
There’s been an update with Don Don Donki.
City Square Don Don Donki Going To Open Soon & It’s The Largest in S’pore
Back when we first wrote about it, we didn’t know how impressive this new store is going to be.

Because not only is it the Japanese discount retail conglomerate’s third outlet (third time’s the charm, right?), it’s going to be the biggest Don Don Donki outlet in Singapore at 26,000 sq ft.
Yes.
Twenty. Six. Thousand.
Just to bring it home, it’s bigger than the other two outlets operating in Singapore right now.
And they’re not exactly small retail outlets.

Okay, I’m pretty sure you’re impatient for the nitty-gritty details, so here you go.
According to online reports, the store will open for business on 11 Jan 2019, which is exactly one week from now.
So if you want to be there to view the historic moment, make sure to be at the basement of City Square Mall on Kitchener Road at 10 am.
And They’re Starting It With a Bang
When you launch something like the biggest outlet in Singapore, you can’t just start things with a whimper.
You’ve got to do it with a bang, like Singapore’s new year eve 1-hour long fireworks.

And while Don Don Donki isn’t in the business of starting fires, they do plan to light you up with a Nintendo switch.
By the way, it’s not any old Nintendo switch. It’s a Pikachu-Eevee Nintendo Switch we’re talking about.
From now until 11 Jan 2019 at 8:00 a.m., you can take part in their online contest and stand a chance to win yourself a Nintendo Switch Pikachu & Eevee Edition + Let’s Go, Pikachu + PokeBall Plus!

- Go to their Facebook post and comment on how you feel about the latest Don Don Donki outlet.

The winner will be announced at the opening of their outlet at City Square Mall on 11 Jan at 9.50 am.
By the way, if you’ve joined, you’ve got to be there during the opening. If the winner isn’t present during the announcement, they’ll redraw until they get someone who’s there at the scene.
