Most of us are now wondering if the “email recall” feature in Outlook or Gmail works.
Some of us might just look for a new job after sending in our resignation letter, citing “Winning Hong Bao Draw” as the reason.
Not for three people.
The Hong Bao Draw results are out, and unlike the TOTO on Monday, the grand prize is shared.
Here’s what you need to know (or don’t want to know).
Everything to Know About the Winners of the Hong Bao Draw 2023
Lest you’re not aware, the winning numbers for the Hong Bao Draw 2023 are 4, 6, 21, 25, 34, and 40, with the additional number at 48.
The total grand prize, known as Group 1 Prize, is $12,810,105—without needing it to be snowballed from previous draws because this is a Hong Bao Draw.
Last year, the amount was higher: at a whopping $16 million as it snowballed from the previous TOTO.
Therefore, on a typical TOTO day, we’d only be a millionaire should we win, but a person could be $12 million richer yesterday.
But with long queues spotted in various Singapore Pools outlets, the chances of more than a person winning are higher, and it turns out that three people won the grand prize.
According to Singapore Pools, the three tickets were bought from these huat outlets:
- Singapore Pools Bencoolen Branch – 180 Bencoolen Street, The Bencoolen #01-59 ( 1 QuickPick System 7 Entry )
- Sheng Moh Fruits & Provision Store – 29 Jalan Mas Puteh ( 1 QuickPick Ordinary Entry )
- Tampines Trading 824 – Blk 824 Tampines St 81 #01-14 ( 1 System 7 Entry )
Two of them were bought via QuickPick (i.e. computer deciding what number to buy), so yes, ChatGPT is taking over the world, including TOTO.
This means each of them would walk away with $4,270,035.
Twenty-two people won the Group 2 prize, getting five winning numbers and the additional number right. Each of them walked away with $122,585.
Now, let’s just hope that none of the winners got their friends to help them buy, if not, this might happen:

Still Not Match for Monday’s Winner
If there wasn’t any winner on Monday, the Hong Bao Draw could’ve potentially snowballed to a whopping $20 million.
However, one lucky winner won the grand prize of $7,239,827 on Monday, with their ticket bought from the Singapore Pools outlet in Oasis Terraces’ FairPrice, in Punggol.
This isn’t the first time this outlet has produced a jackpot ticket. The last time it produced a winning ticket was 26 February 2021, where the jackpot winner won $2,386,178.
In other words, yes, someone won much more than yesterday’s three newly minted millionaires.
