If you are having regrets on how you’ve lived your life this 2024, don’t fret.
In less than 40 days, 2025 will arrive, and you can say goodbye to your slovenly, debauched ways forever.
However, you can also take the time to party away on 31 Dec (and a little on 1 Jan), before putting your responsibilities ahead of you.
Seems fun? It should.
For the youths who are hip and happening (I say with irony as yet I nurse another lower back issue), tomfoolery will be abounds at various venues, such as the clubs and the bars.
But for others who may want other options, these venues will be abound with patriotic shenanigans.
These activities will be counting down not just to the new year, but also to Singapore’s 60th birthday, or SG60.
The first event kicking off these SG60 celebrations is the ONE Countdown 2025, said the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth on 21 Nov.
Under the theme, ‘Building Our Singapore Together’, SG60 will be celebrating nation-building over the years and provide opportunities for citizens to reflect on shared values such as multiculturalism, boldness, resilience and openness.
