The sky is blue; grass in green; in other news, Logan Paul’s in trouble, again.
Which kind of makes me wonder:
When will he ever learn?
What is it this time?
On 5 Feb, Logan Paul released a video titled ‘THE PAULS RESPOND TO THE CSI FIGHT! **called out**‘ on his Youtube channel Logan Paul Vlogs.
(Incidentally, he’s already smashing plates within the first 30 seconds, and trying to revive a dead fish with ‘CPR’ at the 2:40 mark, but that’s not the trigger in this case).
At the 4:30 mark, it was revealed that there were two dead rats on the balcony in Logan’s residence.
They then head to check it out.
Definitely dead, right? It’s time to throw them away, right? No doubt about that, right?
But no, Logan, being the sceptical genius he is, decided to “double confirm”.
Drawing out a taser, he pointed it at the rats.
And well, he started tasering them.
Suffice it to say that the rest weren’t amused.
It didn’t help that the tasering scene was followed up by this (I have to mention that there’s a gag soundtrack accompanying it as well):
…
Thereafter, the dude in the blue t-shirt said, “Dude, he’s already *can’t decipher the exact word here, but I would assume it’s something equivalent to dead*”
To which Logan looked at the camera and replied:
“No rat’s coming into my house without being tased,” he smiled nervously.
Disapproval
Netizens were, to put in bluntly, not in tune with the maverick’s antics.
And Youtube had no choice
Previously, Youtube had already punished Logan for his whole ‘suicide video controversy‘, by pulling his channels from the lucrative Google Preferred premium-advertising program, cutting him from Youtube Red’s original series “Foursome” and ceased production of Paul’s films in its “Originals” category.
But it seems that the video sharing site has taken it one step further, by suspending all advertising from the Youtuber’s channels.
“After careful consideration, we have decided to temporarily suspend ads on Logan Paul’s YouTube channels,” YouTube said in a statement. “This is not a decision we made lightly; however, we believe he has exhibited a pattern of behavior in his videos that makes his channel not only unsuitable for advertisers, but also potentially damaging to the broader creator community.”
So what now, Logan?
With demonetization now slapped on his ever-growing ‘punishment list’, you got to wonder: what now, Logan?
But here’s the interesting thing:
Since the start of 2018, when his antics arguably took a turn for the ‘worse’, he’s gained nearly 1 million subscribers, and now boasts a whopping 16.6 million subscribers.
So maybe the real question here isn’t “What now, Logan…?”
But “What next, Logan?”
