I‘ve written a fair number of articles on horrible employers.
However, I still cannot get used to reading about horrible bosses abusing their employees. The lack of mutual respect is simply so rage inducing. And in case you have no idea, I tend to fly into a rage pretty easily.
This time, we’re taking a look at the land of the rising sun.
Our story takes place in a Korean BBQ restaurant known as Yakiniku GyuuGyuu. And well, since this article is about horrible bosses, I’m sure you know who I’ll be talking about.
However, it’s not just the boss this time around.
Masao Mukai, the owner of the shop, together with his wife and shop manager, were arrested by the police on 10 January. They were arrested in connection with 3 counts of assault and 1 count of causing bodily injury.
(…I hope Mukai will be required to stuff a flower up his nose for his mugshot too)
The suspects allegedly hit the victim, a 35-year-old man, in the face a dozen times with a piece of lumber. If that wasn’t enough, they also poured hot water onto his buttocks and thighs.
The first incident occurred in July of 2017 when the three suspects allegedly hit the 35-year-old victim in the face dozens of times with a piece of lumber. Another time involved pouring boiling hot water onto the man’s buttocks and thighs.
As if that wasn’t enough, they were also accused of tying the victim’s hands together and then shoving a piece of burning tissue paper up the victim’s nose.
Whoa, hang on a minute there. That’s sadistic! If all these were true, then they deserve no mercy at all.
Last but not least, the suspects had also allegedly used a toy bowgun to fire toothpicks into the victim’s face a dozen times. According to the police, the toy bowgun is capable of firing toothpicks at up to 100km/h.
100km/h?! That’s about the speed of a car on the highway! It may just be toothpicks, but at this speed it’s still going to hurt!
The family of the victim then contacted the police regarding the incident. After the arrest of Mukai, the police found images of the victim with toothpicks embedded in his face on Mukai’s phone.
Well, I guess it’s safe for us to say that it’s highly possible that they did shoot the toothpicks into the victim’s face!
Mukai then confessed that the victim and him had embezzled from the restaurant due to money troubles. Hmm, could his vicious actions towards the victim be due to this event? Let’s just wait and see how this will play out.
Either way, workplace violence is to be frowned upon. No matter what, you should never hurt another person like this.
That being said, do check out our video below to learn more about your rights as a worker!
