Show Lo’s career took a steep dive back in 2020 after news of his womanising ways broke the headlines.
And honestly, no one would blame him if he never turns up again, at least not in Taiwanese showbiz.
But show up, he did, and this time, it’s allegedly for a very generous figure.
Here’s what you need to know.
Show Lo Finally Met the Media for the First Time After Scandal For An Alleged 7-Figure Endorsement
On 7 Apr 2022, Show Lo turned up for a media event in Taipei for a health product endorsement.
The event only lasted thirty minutes and the media were not arranged to post questions to Lo.
The COVID-19 pandemic was cited as the reason for the short event.
However, a large number of fans had turned up for the event and Lo told them that he misses them.
“I miss everyone very much as I haven’t met all of you for a long time.”
Lo also said, through a public relations firm, that he has been busy lately and hopes to give everyone “a surprise” in the near future.
Lo also said he fell in love with golf.
Some outlets reported that Lo has received a 7-figure fee for the endorsement of the health product but his manager declined to comment.
Has Been Attempting To Return To Showbiz
Show Lo isn’t seeing the swan dive of his career as a permanent situation and has been trying hard to return to his golden days.
This includes:
- Starting a YouTube channel and garnering a whopping 6k dislikes for his first video (it got better after).
- Made a song expressing his wish to return to the stage:
- Returned to the stage for a countdown party despite unhappy netizens:

- And made a new song asking how many times does a person have to die to atone for his mistakes:
The new single appears to be a hit, at least amongst Lo’s original fanbase that has been providing him with unwavering support thus far.
The music video has chalked up over a million views within two days, and an overwhelming majority of the comments have been supportive, with many fans praising the concept and quality of the MV.
Either that or someone has been very busy monitoring the comments.
