Everything You Need to Know About Space Force Season 2

Space Force is an American workplace comedy series released on Netflix that centers on a group of people tasked with setting up the sixth branch of the United States Armed Forces, the United States Space Force.

 What Happened With Space Force Season 1

Starring the well-beloved actor Steve Carell, who is most known for playing Michael Scott in The Office, Carell plays as General Mark R. Naird who is the first Chief of Space Operations at Space Force.

With the first season, the series received a bag of mixed reviews as viewers and critics alike expected more with the comedy and humor given the series’s all-star cast – even though the humor present in the series succeeded in generating laughter here and there among critics, the overall show was frankly just okay.

Reviews written on Rotten Tomatoes averaged out on an approval rating of 39% based on 96 reviews whilst Metacritic, the first season had an average score of 49 out of 100 based on 40 critics.

However, contrary to the lackluster reviews given by critics online, the common television audience has voiced their love for the series them giving it an audience score of 75% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Space Force Season 2 and Its Comeback Among the Critics

So far, Space Force season 2 seems to be doing significantly better than its first with critics on Rotten Tomatoes awarding it a 100% fresh on the Tomatometer.

Viewers have also come out to defend the workplace comedy series – on YouTube, comments mention that the series “has potential” and that it was a fun and underrated show.

In the audience rating section on Google, users also voiced their confusion on why the show got rated badly and that it was unfair for it to be judged against the standard that was held for The Office. One mentioned that the show has its “own special something” that was brought forth by Steve Carell and his impeccable comedic deliveries.
