Yesterday, an Entire Bus Stop in AMK was Flooded. 2018 is Going to be an Angry Year

My secondary school teacher always says:

“You must do the right things, at the right time, at the right place, to the right person.”

I believe this is like a golden rule to everything.

Wouldn’t it be good if everyone abides by this?

No more unhappiness, no more grudges.

But if you’re trying to paint a perfect picture, that’s not enough.

You will also need the cooperation of the skies.

Can’t help it if it’s feeling a ‘lil pesky right?

It might just throw a tantrum and decide to drown Ang Mo Kio in its tears, who knows.

Think I’m spouting nonsense?

Look at this:

According to Channel NewsAsia, there was another flooding incident yesterday (Jan 31).

This time round, it was of a relatively smaller scale, as compared to the one in early January.

Despite heavy rain in several parts of Singapore, only a walkway at Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2 was flooded.

Water also flowed to the bus stop, causing inconvenience to those waiting for their bus.

Evident from the picture above, a lady wrapped her feet in plastic bag cos you know, there’s nowhere to hide, so why not embrace it ?

A netizen said that she was going back home from work at about 5.35pm when she saw the flooded walkway.

“It is also partly because the water is overflowing from the nearby drain,” she said.

“This always happens at this area when there is rain. We have to walk along the road instead and it is dangerous for us.”

Not only that

The National Environment Agency (NEA) warned about “heavy thundery showers with gusty winds” in many areas of Singapore at about 4pm.

Super strong winds sent boats flying at the National Sailing Centre in the afternoon and a huge tree fell on Marine Parade Road, blocking several lanes.

This is the second day in a row that heavy rain fell across Singapore.

On Tuesday, flash floods, fallen trees and even hailstones (yes, you read that right) were brought along by the rain.

I guess you can say that the skies weren’t exactly cooperating for the whole of Jan 2018.

Since you’re here, why not watch a video about a guy who lodged a Police report here in Singapore because he was friendzoned? Seriously. Here, watch it and do remember to share it (and also subscribe to Goody Feed YouTube channel)!
