Unless you live in a case, you’d know that two people have been hogging the headline in the last two days.
One is a celebrity who’s done two very wrong things and has now been given a chance to redeem himself.
The other is someone who might be a tad too loud in public, and a tad too racist in the online world, and has now been cancelled by both her company and YouTube.
Here’s what happened.
‘Hwa Chong’ Lady Terminated from Real Estate Agency; YouTube Channel Removed As Well
If you’re unfamiliar with the “Hwa Chong” lady, please pay your internet bills and also read this article.
Since her YouTube channel went viral yesterday (27 April 2021), there’s been another story brewing in TikTok. Many TikTok users have posted her personal details, claiming that she works as a property agent and speculating that she might not have any mental issue.
There were also speculations about where she studied after she graduated from Hwa Chong, but none of those details are verified.
However, the part about her being a property agent is now confirmed.
KF Property Network Pte Ltd, a real estate agency in Singapore, posted this late last night:
Lest you can’t read, here’s what they’ve written:
One of Knight Frank’s core values is to be a Responsible business to People and the Community. The company maintains zero tolerance for hate speech and racism that threatens the foundations on which Singapore is built.
Earlier this week, the conduct of an Associate of KF Property Network was brought to our attention.
We will like to advise that the individual in question has been terminated from the company.
We thank everyone who came forth to feedback on this matter.
The company remains committed to be a responsible business to both clients and the communities in which we operate.
Thank you.
