A few days ago—25 Feb to be exact—KFC updated their Facebook page, asking netizen on what would they put in their KFC Zinger if they had a choice.
Netizens being netizens, they went all out, suggesting flavours that makes Willy Wonka looks sane.
From avocados and chocolates to ramen and scallops, KFC was cheeky enough to shop the images inside the said burger.
But, hey, they did ask you to stretch your imagination after all.
I was kinda anticipating a new Zinger burger and, I mean, they have to come up with something new since their long-term rival brought in a slew of new products to their menu.
You all know who I’m talking about.
Anyhow, I was right!
Zinger Mozzarella Burger
As of writing time, 12 hours ago, they posted a video featuring a heartier version of the classic Zinger burger.
Move aside, Double Down you might have to give up your spot for a new burger.
The video featured the KFC Zinger Mozzarella, and as the moniker suggests, on top of the Zinger patty, there is a monstrous mozzarella patty as well with pizza sauce slathered on top of it.
And it also has turkey bacon!
Now, this looks like the final evolution of Zinger, and judging from the video, this artery-clogging burger can satiate any ravenous soul, but, I must say, I am skeptical about how stretchy the mozzarella will be in real life.
How much
According to the site, the burger cost $7.20, but if you’re having it delivered to your doorstep, you’re better off with their buddy meal which is $19.50.
The meal also includes their new side item, spicy potato bites!
Now, I am going to ditch my evening jog for this glorious beauty, and hey, if they promised world peace, who am I to stand in their way.
